Introducing the best player in England outside of the Premier League - Bobby Reid.

With 10 league goals and two assists to his name, the attacking midfielder has become the talk of England's second tier following his heroics for Bristol City.

Reid, a local lad from Bristol, graduated from the clubs youth academy in 2011, but enjoyed spells away from the home of football - Ashton Gate - before cementing his spot in Lee Johnson's buccaneering side.

From Cheltenham Town, Oldham Athletic and a few stints at Plymouth Argyle.

He returned to his parent club in 2014 - the season which saw City secure promotion to the Championship.

In the 2015/16 and 2016/17 campaigns, Reid played 28 and then 30 league games, respectively. Scoring a combined five league goals.

However, this season, Reid is in scintillating form having already weighed in with 10 league goals.

The 24-year-old ace is a midfielder by trade though Johnson has utilised his star man further up the field as a result of an injury to record-signing Famara Diedhiou.

Through his agile feet, flair and creativity, Reid has spearheaded City's charge up the Championship table.

He's been on fire this season which has been perfectly captured in City's goat-level GIF's.

Not to mention 'Stone Cold' Bobby.

Naturally, he's attracting plenty of interest. Premier League duo Everton and West Ham are reportedly keeping tabs on his progress.

But, here's hoping Reid remains with City till the end of the season and beyond.

Meanwhile, City's mad Championship schedule takes a welcome break with the visit of Manchester United to the beautiful South-West in the Carabao Cup quarter-final.

Jose Mourinho takes his star-studded squad to Bristol with City already claiming not one but THREE Premier League scalps in Watford, Stoke City as well as thrashing Crystal Palace 4-1.

Yet, they now face the stiff test of the defending champions who could field the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Anthony Martial, among many others.

Quite frankly, the prospect of Zlatan and cult-hero Aden Flint going head-to-head is worthy of a Sky Sports Box Office viewing.

While entertaining United is a cup final outing in itself, City have bigger fish to fry which includes taking on league leaders Wolves before the year's out, another televised fixture, as they continue their league quest.

And Reid will play a pivotal role should City clinch promotion to the footballing promiseland.

Follow his journey, here.
