Conor Coady says the "incredible" night with England will be a night he'll never forget and will live with him forever.

Coady, 27, enjoyed a superb match for England as he kept a clean sheet, scored a goal and finished the match as captain.

The Three Lions beat Wales 3-0 with the Wolves defender scoring his side's second goal at Wembley Stadium on Thursday.

And speaking after his second senior appearance for England, he gave a humbling post-match interview.

"I'm still in shock to be honest, it'll live with me forever. It's an amazing night for me. It's just an incredible night honestly," he told ITV.

"I can't explain it. To play with these players is incredible for me, the feeling of it and everything about playing at Wembley for England - I'll never forget it.

"You want to come and impress, everyone does, but I want to help whenever I'm called upon. I will make sure I'm ready and I'll give 110 per cent every time I play for my country."

Coady starred for England at the back with strikers Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Danny Ings also getting on the score-sheet.

Meanwhile, England return to action on Sunday when they face Belgium in a Nations League clash.

Gareth Southgate's team then take on Denmark next Wednesday in another Nations League fixture.
