If you had to associate the Brazilian Ronaldo with any pair of boots, you would immediately think of the iconic blue, yellow and silver '98 Mercurial's.
Ronaldo, who even described the '98 Mercurial boots he wore as having 'changed the game', ripped apart the competition at the World Cup with these stunning pieces of art.

The colour scheme combination of silver, yellow and blue on the boots still live long in the memory, and an upcoming release of a pair of Mercurial boots takes great inspiration from the legendary boots produced 20 years ago.
To celebrate the anniversary of the boot, Nike have unveiled a new range which includes the legendary footwear he wrapped around his neck in that iconic picture playing for Brazil.
TAKE MY MONEY. ALL OF IT.

Nike have put a modern twist on a number of their decorated boots in the past, but these look to be almost exactly the same - with the 2018 Mercurials looking as good as they did 20 years ago.
We just wish this Ronaldo was wearing them whilst leaving defenders in his wake at the peak of his powers.
As you can see in the below picture, Nike will also release several other Mercurial boots to celebrate the anniversary.
