Matty Cash has been given a new name after receiving his Polish citizenship and could make his international debut next month.
The Slough-born right-back has pledged his international career with Poland after qualifying through his mum.
He was present at the Polish embassy in London last week for 'We play for Poland' meeting, where he poised with officials.
Cash has since been granted citizenship and, as a result, has received a new Polish name - Mateusz Gotowka.
The Aston Villa star thanked Poland's President Andrzej Duda for his support.

He tweeted: "Thank you, Mr. President. It is an honor and an extremely important moment for me and my family.
"I'll do my best on the pitch."
Cash also posted a statement after confirming his switch of international allegiance.

He tweeted: "This is a very important day for me and my family. My application for Polish citizenship has been approved by the Polish authorities.
"I would like to thank the president, my family and other people who helped me in this. Time for new challenges, I will do my best for this country."
Cash has missed the chance to play against England, but could make his international bow in next month's World Cup qualifiers.
