Brandon Williams had bit of a nightmare on social media as he accidentally posted a picture of Liverpool's Champions League parade in celebration of Manchester United pulling out of the European Super League.

Williams shared a post online after his side confirmed their plans of withdrawing from the proposed competition.

But the 20-year-old took to Instagram with an image of Liverpool celebrating their remarkable Champions League triumph in Istanbul in 2005.

He uploaded a picture of his rivals, accompanied with the caption: "To you all, everyone is equal."

Once he spotted his hilarious error, the budding left-back replaced the post with an image of his club's own parade with the caption: "To you all, we are ALL equal."

Though his mishap didn't go unnoticed by fans who ruthlessly trolled the United starlet.

One wrote: "LOOOOLL how could you mess up as badly as that man."

A second tweeted: "Caught homie in 4k. He was loving those celebrations no doubt."

A third added: "Mf took the 'rivals unite' to another level."
