Bernardo Silva Hilariously Names His Dog After Manchester City Teammate

If you're looking for a superb piece of light-hearted content to watch in the coming days, then check out a brilliant interview with Bernardo Silva.

Manchester City's in-house media team have published a candid chat with their Portuguese midfielder, but the star of the show is undoubtedly their dog, who has been hilariously named 'John' after teammate John Stones.

He said: "We really wanted to have a dog, and he was named after my friend, John Stones, because we're very close and I always said to him that one day if I had a dog, I would call him 'John'.

"It's actually a great name. We love it and Ines [Silva's partner] agrees with it. I think it suits him; he's a beautiful boy and is very intelligent."

Silva and Ines are filmed taking a walk around the streets of Manchester, and the 27-year-old gives a fascinating insight into life at the club.

He talks about a range of topics, including his relationship with compatriot Joao Cancelo, and how he always makes a coffee for himself and Riyad Mahrez an hour before each game.

Silva and Man City are next in action on Saturday when they host Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Etihad Stadium.
