Karim Benzema hasn't been in the France national team fold for quite some time now.
While the striker has remained in fine form at club level for Real Madrid, his alleged part in the case over the blackmailing of the Mathieu Valbuena after a sex tape was released, means he remains overlooked by Didier Deschamps.
If we're being honest, it's not as though France aren't stocked with attacking talent at the moment, but they would still benefit from the presence of a marksman like Benzema.

Their No.9 for the time being is Arsenal's Olivier Giroud and Benzema cheekily liked a post that trolled the Arsenal striker.
The two have played together on a number of occasions for the national team but Benzema could not help himself when he came across a post that took the piss out of his compatriot.

The post is a collage of four pictures, with images of Benzema with the richest prizes in world football and Giroud getting his haircut.
Things could get quite awkward if the two ever team up again should Benzema be recalled to the France squad in the near future.

Benzema has also been linked with Arsenal on a number of occasions. Maybe Oli G won't want him to join considering he approved of a joke about Giroud spending more time on making his hair look nice and fresh than lifting trophies.
