Barcelona Insert Insane Release Clause Into Ousmane Dembele's Contract

You get the impression that, even though they've just secured the signing of the second most expensive player of all time, having signed Ousmane Dembele from Borussia Dortmund for £96 million, Barcelona are still more than a little smarting from how Paris Saint-Germain steamrollered right over them to sign Neymar, two weeks ago.

The La Liga giants confirmed the signing of 20-year-old French winger Dembele earlier this afternoon in a deal that could end up costing the Camp Nou club a remarkable £135 million, and already they've set about attempting to put him out of reach of any of their continental rivals.

With a £200 million release clause not enough to deter PSG from making a move for Neymar, Barca have significantly amped up their release clause game for their latest arrival, and have almost doubled the Brazilian's release clause for the former Dortmund prodigy.

So, should anyone wish to prise the 20-year-old from the Blaugrana's grasp, they will have to fork out £368 million.

We eagerly await PSG's opening bid of £280 million, next June.
