For some bizarre reason, Artem Dzyuba dressed up as 'Deadpool' when he picked up his Russian Premier League winners medal.

The Zenit Saint Petersburg star collected his championship medal wearing a 'Deadpool' costume with his son.

Players and fans applauded Dzyuba as he made his way onto the stage with the league official putting the winners medal over the striker's son.

Dzyuba also lifted the trophy as 'Deadpool' in front of his teammates and their families.

Hollywood superstar Ryan Reynolds, who plays the character in the film, even reacted as he liked the club's tweet of Dzyuba in the costume.

The 32-year-old played a huge role in his side's title triumph, scoring 16 league goals this season - including a brace against Lokomotiv Moscow on Sunday.
