Arsenal Fans Think They've Already Lost Tonight's Europa League Game Against AC Milan

They've been handed the toughest draw in the Europa League round of 16.

Arsenal fans aren't going into their Europa League clash with AC Milan tonight with any optimism, it seems.

The Gunners have lost four straight games in a row as the pressure continues to mount on Arsene Wenger.

Winning the Europa League is their best chance of qualifying for the Champions League next season but in Milan, unbeaten in their last 13 games, they have been handed the most difficult draw in Europe's secondary competition.

But the pessimism from plenty of Arsenal supporters actually stems from the fact they are wearing their blue away kit at the San Siro tonight and they reckon it's cursed.

This season, the Gunners have won just a single game, against Belarusian side BATE Borisov, when wearing the strip.

They also managed a disappointing 1-1 draw with Southampton in the strip, but other than that they've been beaten every time they've worn it - including the 2-1 loss to Bournemouth, 4-0 humbling at the hands of Liverpool and the 4-2 embarrassment to Nottingham Forest.

The trend continued following a bizarre UEFA ruling which meant Arsene Wenger's side were forced to wear their away kit at the Emirates for the Europa League round of 32 second leg against Swedish minnows Ostersunds.

It didn't matter too much in the grand scheme of things as they qualified on aggregate thanks to the 3-0 away win achieved in the first leg, but the 2-1 loss is the latest example of Arsenal's display not matching their lovely kit.
