Antonio Conte Explains Why He Lets Diego Costa Drink Beer

How does Diego Costa celebrate by bagging the winning goal? Well, with a cold beverage; in particular a beer. And it appears Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is all for it.

Following Chelsea's 1-0 victory over West Brom a few weeks ago, a video circulated online showing Costa dancing while drinking a beer.

But while the Italian disciplinarian has banned pizza's, among other delicious goodness, alcohol isn't and he doesn't mind the odd drink.

Because apparently it's good for hydrating the body!

"(It is good) for rehydration, you can drink Coca-Cola or one beer." Conte said during his press conference.

As long as it's in moderation; "It's good for recovery. But one. Not a lot. It's good. After you finish the game, quickly, not an hour after the end."

Continuing to add; "I have great professionals in my players. In this case, I don't think a coach or a manager can say: 'Do this' or 'Don't do this'"

"I have great professionals and I know they will have the better attitude and behaviours in this situation."

It's proving to work as the Spanish international is leading the Premier League goal-scoring charts and is on absolute fire under Conte.
