Alexandre Lacazette's Arsenal Squad Number Confirmed By Club

Following his £52 million transfer from Lyon, Alexandre Lacazette has officially been given his Arsenal squad number for next season and it's a big one.

Arsenal finally completed the deal to bring the prolific striker to the Emirates, and the fans can catch a glimpse of their newest signing as he heads to Australia for the clubs pre-season tour.

And Lacazette was spotted in his training gear with his number which was then confirmed by Arsenal's online store. The Frenchman is set to don the number 9 shirt.

The shirt was in possession of last summer signing Lucas Perez. Though he's been demoted and been handed the number 28 shirt as his future at Arsenal looks bleak with the Spaniard heavily linked with a move away.

The Arsenal faithfuls are hoping Laczette can break the curse, and become a star at the club.
