West Ham and England man Michail Antonio made an 135 mile journey after Saturday's draw with Middlesbrough to deliver a signed shirt to charity.

Time constraints meant Antonio couldn't post the shirt so opted to take the long drive up to Birmingham to personally deliver the signed shirt.

Antonio turned up at an event put on by Richard and Charlotte Sharratt, founders of the Libby Mae Little Angels charity, and arriving in his West Ham tracksuit with the shirt in hand.

The charity, was set up in the memory of Libby Mae Sharratt who sadly passed away at the age of two weeks following a heart defect. The funds raised by the charity stand at over £135,000.

Antonio was happy to do his bit for the cause, going the extra mile to help out with his signed shirt.

He said:

"I knew they wanted it for the auction that night, so I thought I'd drop it off after the game before carrying on to see my family."

Antonio was thanked for his classy gesture.

Antonio is also ambassador for the Guy Mascolo Football Charity. The former Nottingham Forest and Sheffield Wednesday man could make his England debut in the next week if he takes to the pitch in games against Malta or Slovenia.
