Newcastle United star Allan Saint-Maximin buys toys for 100s of fans

Saint-Maximin paid for toys for 100s of kids at a toy store in Newcastle, cementing his place as a legend.

Allan Saint-Maximin improved his already high status amongst Newcastle United fans by buying toys for 100s of young fans.

Saint-Maximin moved to Newcastle in 2019 and quickly became a hero at St James' Park due to his quality and style of play, which was beyond those around him at the time.

The 25-year-old forward has continued to be an integral part of Eddie Howe's side, even since the increase in spending in the north east under the new owners.

After the win over Nottingham Forest, on the opening weekend of their latest Premier League campaign, the Frenchman received further acclaim by fans.

On the way out of the stadium, the forward went over to a group of supporters and gifted one of them a Rolex watch, much to the fans delight.

And now he's once again showed his giving nature, by taking 100s of young Newcastle fans to a toy shop and buying them a toy of their choice, as documented by YouTuber Adam Pearson.

"This man is an absolute god. Man of the people. Allan Saint-Maximin you absolute beautiful man. I’ve never seen so many kids and even parents as happy in my life. Take a bow ASM," one fan said.

"I’m not a Newcastle fan, but Saint-Maximin seems like one of the most likeable fellas in the world, this is just brilliant," a second added.

"Great gesture, he can obviously afford it but so can many others who wouldn't bother," a third said.

One Arsenal fan said, "What an absolute gem of guy Alain Saint-Maximin is.

"Sure lives up to his middle name. Gifting a Rolex last week then gifting 100s of kids free Lego this wk. Footballer's get some flak. But this guy is a SAINT!"

And another added, "Just love the guy he's always doing things for fans or just people in general. Absolute legend."

It's not the first time that the former Nice man has been engaging with toys recently, although last time it was a very different kind of toy.

A fan put together a thread of the forward as different sexual aids and he quote tweeted it onto his own timeline saying, "Entertainment guaranteed on and off the pitch."

He's not the only player from the Magpies who has been amongst the fans either, with Joelinton recently enjoying an afternoon round at a fan's house.

The Brazilian visited the supporter who has had a rather interesting tattoo of the midfielder inked onto him.
