Mauro Icardi has 'bought the world's most expensive car', it costs a fortune

Paris Saint-Germain striker Mauro Icardi, currently on loan at Galatasaray, has reportedly splashed out big on a new purchase.

Mauro Icardi has reportedly treated himself by splashing out on "the world's most expensive car".

The Argentine striker is currently on loan at Galatasaray from Paris Saint-Germain and helped the Turkish giants win the league title for the 23rd time by scoring an impressive 22 goals in 25 games in all competitions.

Galatasaray, who finished in lowly 13th the previous season, sealed the Turkish Super Lig with a 4-1 victory over Ankaragucu on Tuesday, with Icardi bagging a brace.

Just days earlier and the former Inter Milan man was showing off his new whip on Instagram. Icardi has regularly shared snaps of him inside the vehicle but this time revealed a little more, posting two pictures complete with the caption: "FUTURISTIC".

And Spanish outlet AS clocked that Icardi appears to have purchased the incredibly rare Rolls Royce Boat Tail.

There are only three of the supercars in the entire world and each one is customised personally.

Icardi looks to have copped one of the luxury vehicles, which are said to cost in the region of $25 million.

The steep price tag is because of the 1,813 exclusive parts and 6.5-liter V12 naturally aspirated engine the car has.

Incredibly, the car, with interior that belongs on a yacht, has an entirely portable kitchen so Icardi and his clan can eat food on the go whenever they want, while there is also unique, high-end silver tableware from Paris firm Christofle.

In addition, Icardi's automobile comes with a fridge that has been crafted for expensive champagne being stored in, as well as curtains for privacy and sleep and leather seats to provide ultimate comfort.

Previously Jay-Z and Beyonce have been rumoured to be owners of a Rolls Royce Boat Tail, which is a feat in itself given the process involved.

Explaining how one comes to get their hands on the car, Rolls Royce chief executive Torsten Muller-Otvos told Forbes:

“It is something where clients come to us, or to me and say ‘Torsten I want to do this’. Then we put you on the list and many of them already come with ideas of what they want to do and how it should look…It is a requirement [that clients visit Rolls-Royce HQ in Goodwood, England six or seven times during the project]; you can’t send your chauffeur to do this, it’s impossible. You need to be committed, to be fully involved.”
