An emotional video of Mason Mount appearing to take in Stamford Bridge for one final time before a potential move in the summer has emerged online.

Mount has been sidelined after undergoing surgery on an abdominal injury but was in attendance for Chelsea's final Premier League game of the season.

He watched his side draw 1-1 with Newcastle United on Sunday, with the Blues wrapping up their miserable league campaign.

Chelsea could be in line for a big summer with Mauricio Pochettino set to take over from Graham Potter following his ruthless dismissal.

Players are set to come and go, including Mount who seems destined to leave his boyhood club amid intense transfer speculation.

The 24-year-old graduated from the club's academy before breaking into the first-team, making 195 appearances and notably winning the Champions League.

But a move away appears to be on the cards, with Manchester United heavily linked with the England international.

Talks of a switch intensified after a clip of Mount taking it all in at Stamford Bridge surfaced online following yesterday's fixture.

Footage shows the midfielder having a stroll on the pitch and looking very emotional as fans online are convinced it's the end for him at Chelsea.

One Twitter user wrote: "Seems to me he’s taking it in for the last time and will most likely force a move."

A second tweeted: "That’s definitely the look of a transfer walk."

A third added: "I'm never forgiving Chelsea for this."

A fourth said: "Genuinely never thought he’d leave Chelsea it’s like Trent leaving Liverpool."

Another commented: "This feels sad man... I really hope he stays."

Frank Lampard, who rejoined the club on an interim basis, admitted it's a 'difficult situation' regarding Mount's future at the club.

Speaking before Chelsea's match against Man United last Thursday, he said: "I think it is a difficult situation.

"From working with Mason and other players when I was here before, they've either gone on to be really important players for the club that have a real relation with the fans, back and forth, because they really feel the club when they've been in the academy since eight years of age.

"And some of them have moved on to other clubs and the club have done well out of that. They've gone on and you've wished them well in their careers."

The 44-year-old added: "I think with Mason particularly, as an individual, I don't know what the solution is going to be because it's a club and Mason issue I don't know exactly where Mason is at, personally. He's got a year left on his contract. I know he's held in high regard at the club and I know the club are doing what they can to make him stay.

"But I think also with Mason, I'd never want to stand here and talk in the modern day about what a player should do, because they'll see it all with their own eyes.. In the old days, it was, 'Why are you leaving the club?' In the modern day, players move on. It's a shame we've got into a situation where it looks like it's happening maybe now."
