Manchester United fans think one of their players could be leaving this summer after Marco Silva 'got off the bus' to speak to him.
Man United beat Fulham 2-1 on Sunday in their final game of the Premier League season. Jadon Sancho cancelled out Kenny Tete's opener, with Bruno Fernandes scoring the eventual winner just before the hour mark.
Erik ten Hag has more one game remaining this campaign before he can turn his attention to summer dealings.
The Red Devils face Manchester City in the FA Cup final on Saturday, with Ten Hag potentially in line for a busy transfer window.
Man United have been linked with a host of players while several of their current stars have been touted with a move away from Old Trafford.
And fans are convinced Fred could be one of those players departing the club after he was spotted chatting to Fulham boss Silva.
It's claimed he got off the Fulham coach just to speak to the Brazilian midfielder.
One Twitter user wrote: "Perfect for both sides."
A second tweeted: "Great move for him, it's his level he'd be a starter."
A third added: "I’d rather he be having a chat with McTominay or Maguire."
A fourth said: "We should keep Fred, really valuable squad player, was class second half today."
A fifth commented: "Fred Palhinha Pereira will be a decent midfield tbf."
Fred has been at Man United since 2018 following his £47 million transfer from Shakhtar Donetsk.
He's made 212 appearances for the club, featuring in 35 league games under Ten Hag this season.
But his future has been the subject of intense transfer speculation, with those reports intensifying following his exchange with Silva.
Man United are thought to be in the market for new midfielders, with Mason Mount strongly linked with a switch to the club.
The 30-year-old could potentially make way for the Chelsea star.
