Marcel Sabitzer scores TWO goals against Sevilla, Man United fans are loving him in that advanced role

Marcel Sabitzer starred as Man United scored two first-half goals against Sevilla.

Marcel Sabitzer has scored TWO brilliant goals as Manchester United lead Sevilla 2-0 in their Europa League quarter-final clash.

Sabitzer opened the scoring in the 14th minute after Bruno Fernandes picked him out. He finished superbly to make it 1-0.

He then doubled his side's lead seven minutes later when Anthony Martial pierced a delightful ball into his path.

The Austrian midfielder made no mistake in front of goal, slotting the ball into the back of the net.

The 29-year-old, who's on loan from Bayern Munich for the rest of the season, has adopted a more advanced role tonight and Man United fans online are loving the positions he's taking up on the pitch.

One Twitter user wrote: "Was really really looking forward to seeing Sabitzer in a midfield with Casemiro. He's much better in advanced positions, really good start this."

A second tweeted: "I'm glad Sabitzer is playing more advanced. He's had a good instinct for goal near around the penalty box ever since his Leipzig days."

A third added: "He's so dangerous in that advanced role."

A fourth said: "Sabitzer in the advanced role is just beautiful to see."

Another commented: "So damn happy for Sabitzer. He is thriving in his natural more advanced role. And Bruno is thriving deeper."
