Sheikh Jassim is set to launch a huge final bid to take over Manchester United before Friday's 10pm deadline, according to a new report.
The current owners of the club, the Glazer family, are preparing for the third deadline for bids to approach, with Sheikh Jassim, Sir Jim Ratcliffe/Ineos and Elliott Management among the parties that have publicly submitted bids.
According to the Daily Mirror, Sheikh Jassim will put forward an offer of £4.5 billion, which is claimed to be higher than the £4 billion that Ratcliffe is willing to offer.

Sky Sports News reported earlier this week that Ratcliffe's offer involves Joel and Avram Glazer keeping a combined 20 per cent stake in the club if a sale goes through. In that scenario, Ratcliffe would own a controlling stake of 50 per cent, with the other 30 per cent held by different investment vehicles.
However, this has not been confirmed by Ratcliffe, Ineos or a spokesperson for either party.
Sheikh Jassim is said to want a full takeover through his Nine Two Foundation, but it remains to be seen whether his bid is accepted when taking into account the Glazers' reported £6 billion asking price.
'Six new Man Utd bids to land'
According to Football Insider, up to six bids for Manchester United could be submitted by tonight's 10pm deadline.

It is claimed that the Glazers have been offered three options by interested parties - sell their stake in the club entirely, retain majority control with investment from elsewhere, and a minority stake.
Any full sale of the club would end the 18-year reign of the family at Old Trafford, after Malcolm Glazer took majority control of United in May 2005.
After his death in 2014, the family retained a 90 per cent share of the club, with Joel and Avram Glazer having already been appointed to the club's board.
According to Statista, as of 2022, Joel had the most voting power of any member of the family, holding a 19.11 per cent share in United.
