Park Ji-Sung Will Appear In FIFA 23 Ultimate Team, He Should Be First Player To Receive 100 Stamina

Manchester United cult hero Park Ji-Sung will feature in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team alongside Yaya Toure and Ricardo Carvalho as part of the FUT Heroes launch.

EA confirmed the news this week in a piece on their official website.

"Bring football’s fan favourites back to the pitch in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team as FUT Heroes, with special items that represent the memorable moments in their career that made them cult legends," they said.

FUT 23 Heroes will be available in-game from launch day, with an additional special FIFA World Cup FUT Hero version for each 'Hero' to be released starting November 11.

So what famous performance have they referenced in regards to their latest FUT Hero, Park Ji-Sung?

“The energetic South Korean played as if he was fired from a cannon, driving at defenders from midfield and harrying opponents with tireless pressing," EA said.

"His assist just 36 seconds into a title-decider against Chelsea made him a Premier League champion and an undeniable FUT Hero.”

The official reveal trailer for FIFA 23 was released on Wednesday, with the game being described as being "the most expansive title to date".

EA claim the new version has "the most advanced gameplay" and "deepest modes" in the franchise's history as well cross-play features for those with next-gen consoles.

In terms of other features, there is also a new technical dribbling system, acceleration mechanics, a whole new variety of passing options and more natural and fluid shooting.

They have also redesigned set pieces, updated on-pitch physics and enhanced player awareness.

EA say further improvements have also been made to Career Mode, Pro Clubs, VOLTA FOOTBALL and FIFA 23 Ultimate Team.
