Man Utd confirm another Premier League fixture change as Europa League tie causes disruption

Man Utd have announced another fixture change.

Manchester United have announced that their Premier League clash against Nottingham Forest has been rescheduled due to their Europa League quarter-final against Sevilla.

United drew the Spanish side, who have won the competition on a record six occasions, in yesterday's Europa League draw.

The ties will take place on April 13 and 20, adding to an already crowded fixture list for Erik ten Hag's side.

As well as having to play 12 more league games, they are still in the FA Cup and also played every possible game in the Carabao Cup on their way to winning the competition.

And the club's official website has confirmed another fixture has been moved to accomodate the first leg of their tie against Sevilla.

Man Utd confirm fixture change, kick-off times

United have announced that their Premier League clash against Nottingham Forest, originally due to take place on Saturday, April 15 at 5:30pm, will now be moved.

Instead, it will take place on Sunday, April 16. It will be shown live on Sky Sports, with the fixture at the City Ground kicking off at 4:30pm.

Meanwhile, both legs against Sevilla will kick off at 8pm, with the second leg against Jorge Sampaoli's side taking place in Seville.

It will be a tough test for Ten Hag's side, despite Sevilla's lowly league position. Surprisingly, they are in 13th place in La Liga, just two points above the relegation zone.

But they certainly have pedigree when it comes to the Europa League, and are looking to add a record-extending seventh title to their resume.

For United, they will be looking to win the trophy for the second time in seven years, after lifting the crown when Jose Mourinho was in charge.

Winning it would guarantee Champions League qualification for next season, but United will certainly hope to achieve that via finishing in the top four alongside another trophy.
