Manchester United midfielder Casemiro could potentially miss the Carabao Cup final against Newcastle United if his club decides to appeal his red card.
The Brazilian midfielder was sent off in United's 2-1 win over Crystal Palace on Saturday after a coming together with Eagles midfielder Will Hughes during a scuffle between both sets of players.
As a result, he will miss the Red Devils' next three domestic games - the back-to-back Premier League games against rivals Leeds United and a home league game against Leicester City.

He will be a big miss for United but as things stand he will be available for their crucial Carabao Cup final clash against Newcastle on February 26.
However, manager Erik ten Hag revealed after the game against Palace that the club would consider appealing Casemiro's red card which could lead to a situation where he is banned for the Wembley encounter.
As reported in the Manchester Evening News, if the FA disciplinary panel reject an appeal case and deem it to be 'frivolous' then an extra game is added to the suspension.
Whilst this is unlikely to happen, it may make the Red Devils think twice about whether or not they want to go ahead with an appeal.
Big loss for United
Since arriving from Real Madrid in the summer in a deal worth up to £70m the 30-year-old has quickly become a fan favourite and brings with him a wealth of experience at the top level.
With five Champions League medals to his name he has solved a problem United have long had in the middle of the park.

Former United player Paul Pogba never really hit the mark as a defensive midfielder for the Red Devils and current players Scott McTominay and Fred are a level below Casemiro.
His absence was felt in United's recent league defeat to leaders Arsenal, which ended a six-game unbeaten league run for Ten Hag's side.
If they are to lift their first major trophy since 2017 then it's vital the midfielder is available for selection.
