Erik ten Hag has named two wonderkids in Manchester United's squad to face Nottingham Forest, with right-back Marc Jurado in contention for his debut.

The Red Devils will be hoping to leapfrog Newcastle United into third with a win on Sunday afternoon, after the Magpies lost 3-0 to Aston Villa on Saturday.

However, Ten Hag has been dealt a number of significant injury blows, forcing him to delve deep into his reserves for solutions.

Goals from Anthony Martial and Fred ensured victory last time these two sides met at Old Trafford, and supporters will be hoping to make it two from tow this afternoon.

Jurardo is on the Red Devils' bench for the first ever time as the 19-year-old aims to make an impression at the City Ground.

Fellow teenager Zidane Iqbal is also among the substitutes alongside Brandon Williams, who hasn't featured for Ten Hag all season.

The United boss has been forced to adapt following injuries to Lisandro Martinez, Raphael Varane and Luke Shaw, who are all unavailable for the contest.

Meanwhile, Scott McTominay and Tyrell Malacia have also not travelled with the squad.

Victor Lindelof and Harry Maguire have had to step in to defence, with Diogo Dalot starting as a makeshift left-back.

Despite a changed back four, the Premier League return of Casemiro will be a welcome sight for supporters, with the Brazilian hoping to provide some much-needed solidity in midfield.

While Marcus Rashford is injured, Antony starts on the right hand side as Anthony Martial leads the line after impressing in midweek against Sevilla.

Jadon Sancho starts on the other flank, with the Englishman hoping to win the trust of Ten Hag.

Here is United's full squad: De Gea, Butland, Bishop, Dalot, Jurado, Wan-Bissaka, Williams, Maguire, Lindelof, Sabitzer, Casemiro, Fred, Fernandes, Iqbal, Pellistri, Antony, Eriksen, Elanga, Sancho, Martial, Weghorst.
