'Complete striker' - Man Utd in pole position to sign Kolo Muani, Mbappe loves playing with him

'Complete striker' - Man Utd in pole position to sign Kolo Muani, Mbappe loves playing with him

Man Utd are in pole position.

Manchester United are in pole position to land a player Kylian Mbappe loves playing with.

This week Bild claimed should Sheikh Jassim take over United, he will look to sign Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain, alongside his international teammates Kingsley Coman and Eduardo Camavinga.

Indeed, Sheikh Jassim bid £5billion to buy 100 per cent of United but faces stiff competition from British petrochemicals billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe to purchase the club.

Mbappe, is among the best players in world football, having claimed 35 goals for PSG this term and picked up the Qatar World Cup’s Golden Boot.

And despite signing a new contract last summer, the France captain has long been tipped for a move away from PSG, with Real Madrid frequently linked.

United are also closing in on a deal for Randal Kolo Muani, a player that could help lure Mbappe from the Ligue 1 giants.

Kolo Muani to Man Utd?

According to French publication RMC Sport, United and Bayern Munich are in pole position to sign Kolo Muani from Eintracht Frankfurt this summer.

The attacker has caught the eye of several of Europe’s elite clubs having netted 21 goals and provided 15 assists in his 41 appearances in all competitions.

Ten Hag reportedly appreciates the striker immensely and would like to bring him to Old Trafford in the summer.

However, Frankfurt are allegedly holding firm on their £88million valuation of the player, who was labelled the “assist king” by the Bundesliga’s official site.

Of course, should United sign Kolo Muani it could improve their chances of bringing in Mbappe.

On Kolo Muani, Mbappe said in March via the Mail Online: “He is a striker who offers different game options to our team. He is very complete and has an impressive volume of play.

“We are happy with the game he played on Friday and I hope he scores tomorrow. We will try to get him to score a goal.”
