A Manchester United fan has demanded the Glazers sell up immediately during a passionate rant on talkSPORT.

Back in November 2022, the Glazer family announced they were putting United up for sale.

To date, the process is still ongoing with two frontrunners in the shape of INEOS boss Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Qatari banker Sheikh Jassim Bin Hamad Al Thani.

It has been reported that both parties placed a bid of around £5 billion but the Glazers are holding out for £6 billion.

TalkSPORT presenter and United fan Andy Goldstein went on a passionate rant and urged the Glazers to sell up immediately.

He said: “Please do yourself and all the Man United fans around the world a favour and sell the club now. What the problem seem to be I don’t really understand why they are holding onto the club.

“They want something like £6 billion and the offers are £5 billion upwards. The transfer window is open now this is a massive massive time for Manchester United as a football club.

“There’s players like Declan Rice going to Arsenal for around £100 million, Manchester United should be going after players like that.

“Harry Kane, this should be wrapped up already, there’s talks about him going to Bayern Munich, he should be playing in the Premier League and at Manchester United.”

Goldstein continued: “The club is now in debt of over £700 million. We were heavily in for Mason Mount and for whatever reason that hasn’t happened yet.

“My understanding is the difference is around £10 million, pay the money! Manchester United desperately need to start competing with the big clubs in the Premier League.

“The way the club is run at the moment is an absolute disgrace and the problem is the Glazers. They are ruining the club, I’ve seen this build-up for a long long time. I don’t know why they are not selling the club and moving on.

“If anyone connected to that family is listening, sell the club and get out because the club is beginning to die.”
