Ronaldo enjoyed yet another prolific campaign last season despite Man United's struggles.

He scored an impressive 24 goals in 38 games across all competitions and was named in the PFA Premier League Team of the Year.

The Portuguese international is set to enter the final year of his current contract and there have suggestions he may look for a move away from Old Trafford this summer.

But he talked up the arrival of Erik ten Hag and has seemingly hinted that he will remain with the Red Devils for the 2022/23 term.

"I know that he has done a fantastic job at Ajax, and that he is an experienced coach, but we have to give him time," he told the club's official website.

"Things must change the way he wants. If you do well, all of Manchester United will succeed, so I wish you all the best.

"We are all happy and excited [with the arrival], not only as players, but as fans as well.

"We have to believe that next year we can win titles."

Ronaldo appears to be in Ten Hag's plans for next season as the Dutch boss plots his Man United rebuild.
