Casemiro starred as Brazil beat Tunisia.

Manchester United fans loved Casemiro's commanding performance in midfield for Brazil against Tunisia.

The 30-year-old started in midfield alongside club colleague Fred in Brazil's 5-1 win over Tunisia on Tuesday.

And he starred in the middle of the park, delivering a spectacular showing that brilliantly encompassed his game.

Casemiro broke up play, stopped Tunisia's attacks and showed off his range of passing.

He sprayed the ball across the engine room of the pitch and provided a sublime assist for Raphinha.

Casemiro picked out the Barcelona winger with an inch-perfect lofted pass for Brazil's opening goal of the game.

His outing at the Parc des Princes has been compiled into a stunning video and makes for incredible viewing.

Naturally, Casemiro's outing got Man United fans excited as some want him in the starting XI against Manchester City on Sunday.

One Twitter user wrote: "I didn’t know he was a good passer of the ball till he came to Manchester United and I love it."

A second tweeted: "He should be starting against City."

A third added: "Casemiro and Ericksen will stop Man City, l hope ETH will give this duo full game time play this weekend!"

Another commented: "I look forward to him putting in a performance like that in a United shirt."

Casemiro has played three Premier League games since his big-money move from Real Madrid.

He's yet to start a league match as Erik ten Hag allows him to settle in the squad.

But it appears the five-time Champions League winner is fit and raring to go ahead of potentially making his first league start for Man United.
