Angry fans are convinced the Premier League fixtures are 'rigged' after seeing Manchester City's potential title run-in.

The league fixtures for the 2023/24 campaign have been released, with people online NOT happy over Man City's schedule in April and May.

The Blues, who have won the league title three years in a row, will be looking to defend their crown next season to make it four successive triumphs.

And supporters believe they've been given a great chance to do so considering their fixtures in what could be a title run-in.

From April 3, Pep Guardiola's side take on Aston Villa, Crystal Palace, Luton Town, Tottenham and Nottingham Forest, before facing Wolves, Fulham and West Ham United in May.

Fans online reckon the fixtures have been 'rigged' in favour of Pep Guardiola's side as they made their feelings known.

One Twitter user raged: "Honestly what the f**k is this??? Happens every season, other teams have to battle multiple top six teams and difficult away games this period, yet City get it easy, a major reason they're almost immaculate this period, whole thing is rigged as f**k."

A second wrote: "City have the easiest run-in. Rigged."

A third, however, argued: "Now go look at City’s fixtures after their champions league games. Then look at Arsenal’s. If there’s one team that doesn’t get favourable decisions, it’s City and I’m an Arsenal fan."

A fourth wrote: "Another league title handed to them just like that smfh."

A fifth added: "Disgraceful run in."

Another referenced Man City's opening set of fixtures: "Look at those Manchester City fixtures. Two newly promoted sides in the first six and only one side from last season's top 8. Don't tell me this shit ain't rigged. All the other big boys face one of the others at least once in the first 6. City get Burnley and Sheffield Utd."

They play only one of the tradition 'Big Six' while meeting three clubs who finished in the bottom half of table this season.

Some fans think Man City have a set of favourable fixtures during their run-in. Do you agree? Let us know.
