Manchester City take on Arsenal at the Etihad in what could be a decisive fixture in the Premier League title race.

The Gunners travel to City five points clear at the Premier League summit, though having played two games more and drawn their last three encounters.

Indeed, Mikel Arteta’s men claimed two-goal leads against Liverpool and West Ham before falling to a draw in both games, while a late double was required for the table toppers to snatch a point from bottom club Southampton on Friday.

Meanwhile, City have confidently secured progress in both the FA Cup and Champions League and are on a six-game winning streak in the league.

The north Londoners will likely need to pull off an upset at the Etihad to claim their first title in 19 years. Here are our betting tips for the Premier League clash, based on odds provided by Sky Bet.

Who are the favourites to win?

Manchester City are at 4/7 to claim a victory against Arsenal, while the Gunners are at 17/4.

Moreover, a draw is priced at 10/3.

Man City to dispatch Arsenal

Both form and the history books point to a City win. The Manchester club have hit their stride at a crucial time in the season, while Arsenal have begun to stutter.

Furthermore, the north Londoners’ record against City has been woeful in recent times. Arsenal have lost seven straight games to Pep Guardiola’s men, and 14 of their last 15.

Indeed, in the last six years, their only positive result against City was a 2-0 FA Cup final win in July 2020.

In the league Arsenal last claimed a victory against City in December 2015, and have since registered two draws and 12 defeats, including 11 straight losses.

Haaland and Jesus to hit target

Erling Haaland and Gabriel Jesus to both have a shot on target is at 2/1, having previously been at 1/1.

It’s a safe bet considering Haaland has had two or more shots on target in four of his last five games, while he hit the target twice in the reverse fixture. Meanwhile, Jesus has had a shot or more in his last four fixtures.

Man City vs Arsenal long shots

If you're feeling a bit more adventurous, here are a couple of bets that caught my eye.

You can get odds of 250/1 for Kevin De Bruyne and Martin Odegaard to both score and Ruben Dias and Rob Holding to be carded, which does not seem beyond the realms of possibility.

Moreover, Haaland and Bukayo Saka to both score is tempting at 10/1.

Odds correct at the time of writing. Please gamble responsibly.
