Liverpool Target Worth £87M Sends Message To Reds' Player On Instagram

Liverpool Target Worth £87M Sends Message To Reds' Player On Instagram

Liverpool transfer target Jude Bellingham has messaged Reds captain Jordan Henderson on Instagram

Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham has sent a message to Jordan Henderson on Instagram in a display of affection for the Liverpool captain.

Prior to the release of his Nike-made documentary, ‘Never done’, Henderson has released a promotional video on Instagram with a snippet of the episode.

Amongst the comments was a heart-warming message from a certain England midfielder, whose name has recently been among Liverpool’s rumoured transfer targets.

The young star, Jude Bellingham, displayed his affection for the Liverpool captain by leaving the comment ‘Legend’, followed by a heart emoji, under the skipper’s post.

Bellingham has been described by many, including Dortmund captain Mats Hummels, as ‘mature for his age’ and is clearly in awe of Henderson’s leadership qualities.

Despite displaying his love for the Liverpool captain, Bellingham could be seen as a potential replacement for Henderson, who turns 33 next year.

The Brit has been tipped to be one of the best players in the world, and the rumoured £87 million asking price certainly reflects that.

The 18-year-old England international is said to be interested in a move to Liverpool after the renewal of Jurgen Klopp’s contract.

But recent rumours suggest that a move for Bellingham is not in Liverpool’s plans this transfer window, and it will be next summer that the Reds look to bring in the talented youngster.

The recent £85 million purchase of Darwin Nunez would suggest it is unlikely that Liverpool would be willing to fork out another major transfer fee in the near future.

But it would come as no surprise to see Jude Bellingham at Anfield in the next few years.

With Naby Keita’s contract set to expire next summer, and Milner and Henderson not getting any younger, Liverpool will be looking to bolster their midfield in the next few transfer windows.

Due to Manchester City’s recent purchase of Kalvin Phillips, it makes a move for Jude Bellingham unlikely for the Premier League champions, making the path a lot clear for Liverpool in their pursuit of the Dortmund star.

This is a transfer saga to keep an eye on.
