Liverpool Fans Raging At Premier League's Scheduling Of Man City Match After Fixture Release

Liverpool fans are fuming at the Premier League for scheduling their away fixture against Manchester City in April during the title run in.

As it stands, the Reds host the English champions on October 15 then travel to Manchester to take on Pep Guardiola's charges on April 1.

Liverpool fans aren't happy that they have to play the Blues away from home so late in the season in what could be a huge game in the title race.

One tweeted: "Whys the away one always second ffs."

A second wrote: "Why do we always play city at home first ffs."

A third added: "Why do we always play at the Etihad late season when we need a win."

A fourth commented: "Why do we play home first against city almost every season."

Another sarcastically said: "2nd game at the Etihad as usual."

In fact, Liverpool face a tricky April. After playing Man City, Jurgen Klopp's team welcome Arsenal and Tottenham to Anfield on April 8 and April 29 respectively.

Liverpool also meet a 'Big Six' team on four occasions after they play in the Champions League.

Chelsea (September 17), Arsenal (October 8), Manchester City (October 15) and Tottenham (November 5).

Have Liverpool been dealt a tough set of fixtures? Let us know.
