Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold and Reds target Jude Bellingham have appeared inseparable in England training. Some fans are suggested that full-back may be crucial in convincing the Borussia Dortmund star to sign for Liverpool.

Bellingham, who would reportedly cost a whopping £87million, has been strongly linked with a move to Anfield for months.

Jurgen Klopp is widely believed to be an admirer of the 19-year-old, but the Reds will face competition from Europe’s elite if they are to secure his signature.

The midfielder has also been linked with Premier League rivals Manchester City, Chelsea and Manchester United, while La Liga giants Los Blancos are also thought to be interested.

Could Alexander-Arnold be key in convincing the Birmingham-born star to snub the rest and join Liverpool?

Fans on Twitter were sent into a frenzy after a journalist noted Bellingham and Alexander-Arnold’s close relationship on Twitter.

Daily Mail correspondent Dominic King wrote: “Trent Alexander-Arnold and Jude Bellingham getting ready for training.

“Wherever one is, the other hasn’t been far away since England arrived in Doha.”

The mere suggestion that Alexander-Arnold and Bellingham were close caused a stir.

Scottaccino said: “He’s coming from Dortmund to the big reds.” Itsthemnotme added: “Agent Trent”.

Meanwhile, SmthQA said: “It's happening in my opinion. Incoming Jude Bellingham 8.”

Other fans were not as convinced, however.

JonnYNWA posted a Bob’s Burger meme, in which the main character Bob Blecher is reaching out for a pack of straws. Naturally, the meme is captioned with: “I’m literally clutching at Straws.”

yfsgout2 added: “That’s irrelevant to where he’s going to sign. Stop pandering to the top reds.”
