Lionel Messi and Ronaldinho have reunited in Pepsi's new advert, with fans questioning the video.

The former Barcelona teammates star in Pepsi's new advert, with fans online feeling nostalgic and slightly underwhelmed.

The video consists of a game of 'Pepsi Pong' - with Messi and Ronaldinho going head-to-head.

Ronaldinho goes first and sinks in a shot, with Messi replying in sublime style (obviously with the aid of CGI...)

He knocks in the three balls with one shot, with the Brazilian applauding his effort.

The footage is accompanied with the caption: "Leo Messi x @10Ronaldinho - the reunion we've all been waiting for."

The 41-year-old also shared the clip online, tweeting: "Making magic with Leo Messi and my new favourite game."

A third added: "1 Shot 3 balls. the GOAT!"

Another commented: "Legend & God!"

Messi has starred in several Pepsi commercials over the years and featured in 2020's ad that also included Paul Pogba and Raheem Sterling.
