Mohamed Salah could win the player of the year award this season in the Premier League, but just how good is he? Gary Neville doesn't believe he gets into the top 10 from the last 11 years.
When Mo Salah returned to the Premier League after a couple of season in Italy last summer most people wouldn't have had him down as a candidate for the league's Player of the Year award.
Of course there's no guarantee the Egyptian will win it but along with Manchester City's Kevin de Bruyne, David Silva and Sergio Aguero, as well as Spurs' Harry Kane, there's no doubting the Reds' forward has been one of the best players this year.

The 25 year-old's impressive 23 goal tally in the league so far this season led to Piers Morgan making a big claim:
However one of Morgan's old sparring partners from social media, Gary Neville, wasn't having it:
There's no doubt that Salah's been excellent this season and has been absolutely devastating in front of goal for a Liverpool side whose attack is one of the best in the league, second only to Manchester City's in goals scored.

However to compare him to Henry, one of the best players in the Premier League era, seems like a stretch too far and all the players that Neville named have consistency over several season on their side too.
Do you think Salah should win the Player of the Year award?
