Roberto Carlos has backed Shawberto Carlos, by claiming that Luke Shaw was the best player at Euro 2020.
Shaw was praised from all corners, even Jose Mourinho, as he shone during England's run to their first final in 55 years earlier this month.

The Manchester United left back came off a brilliant season for his club to be named in the Euro's team of the tournament.
His performances led to him being compared to Brazil legend Carlos, considered by some as the greatest left back in the modern era, certainly from an attacking point of view.
And now the 2002 World Cup winner has backed the 26-year-old, claiming he should have beaten Gianluigi Donnarumma to the Golden Ball.
"He [Shaw] was the best player in the tournament," Carlos told GQ Magazine.

"He has to keep it up; he has to continue playing like that. That's important."
Had the tournament been played in 2020, as it was originally supposed to, Shaw would have been unlikely to make Gareth Southgate's team.
The full back had been usurped at Old Trafford as a definite started for United, with youngster Brandon Williams battling with the former Southampton player.

Alex Telles' arrival in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's squad also looked to have ended Shaw's chances of being first choice but instead he raised his game.
After getting ahead of Ben Chilwell in Southgate's plans this summer, Shaw was brilliant throughout the tournament.
He scored in the final after just two minutes, before Italy went on to beat the Three Lions on penalties, but Carlos believes that England can win silverware.

"I watched the entire Euros and the England team played really well," the former Real Madrid full back added.
"Losing is part of the game, part of football, and I really do hope that they can do well at the World Cup.
"If they can keep these standards up they deserve to win a trophy."
If Shaw can match the man who he is now named after then he'll definitely have an excellent career going forward...
