Fans spot what Toni Kroos did after being booed by fans in Saudi Arabia yet again

Toni Kroos was loudly booed by fans at the Al Alwol Park in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Real Madrid star Toni Kroos was met with loud jeers from Saudi Arabia fans during the Spanish Super Cup final win over Barcelona.

Los Blancos ran out 4-1 winners during the latest El Clasico fixture, with Vinicius Jr bagging an incredible first-half hat-trick.

But while the Brazilian stole the headlines, the constant booing of Kroos was again a huge talking point.

Against Atletico Madrid on Wednesday, Kroos came off the bench with just over 20 minutes remaining and every touch was booed.

There was also cheers when he slipped while attempting to make a cross-field pass.

Carlo Ancelotti addressed it in his press conference, saying: "I don’t understand it, I don’t think Kroos understood it either.”

The negative reception appears to be because of Kroos' previous comments about players moving to Saudi Pro League, branding Gabri Veiga's switch to Al Ahli "embarrassing" and claiming money is the motivating factor for those who joined.

The same happened for the German on Sunday. This time he started the fixture but the boos were audible and could be heard when he exited the turf.

When he was being jeered during the post-match celebrations, an unfazed Kroos simply brought up his hand and did a waving gesture.

However, fans have also noticed another play from Kroos after the game. Real won the Super Cup for the 13th time and so the players marked the special achievement by wearing 'Campeones' shirts with the number of titles on the back.

These jerseys also contained Arabic text at the bottom. But while Real's entire squad appeared to wear them, Kroos did not.

A picture doing the rounds on social media shows the former Bayern Munich man sporting his shirt from the game, with the No.8 on the back.

Former teammates of Kroos' are playing in Saudi but his issue would appear to be with those going in the "middle" of their careers.

"Everyone has to make that decision for themselves, like Cristiano Ronaldo, who decided to do it towards the end of his career.

"But it becomes very difficult when players, who are in the middle of their career and have the quality to play for the best clubs in Europe, decide to make those changes".
