Real Madrid are reportedly considering making moves for two shock Premier League stars to address a problem position.

With most European sides having just a couple of matches left this season, many fans are already looking ahead to the upcoming summer transfer window.

Despite the window not opening for another three weeks, it appears that Real Madrid may have already secured the biggest signing of the summer as they appear to be close to agreeing a deal with Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold.

But a new report has claimed that the Spanish giants aren't prepared to stop there, as they plan to raid two other Premier League sides in the coming weeks.

Although he has been a key part to their success in recent years, Real Madrid are reportedly beginning their search for a long-term successor to goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois.

Ukrainian keeper Andriy Lunin was once seen as the perfect replacement for the Belgian legend, but with Madrid said to be considering selling the 26-year-old, they could consider bringing in a new keeper in the summer.

Should this be the case, then a report from The Sun claims that Brighton keeper Bart Verbruggen is said to be top of Real's transfer targets between the sticks, with the Dutchman fancied by the La Liga side.

However, a deal for the young goalkeeper may prove to be difficult as Verbruggen would have to accept that he would start his career at the Bernebeu on the bench, with the idea being that he would become first-choice down the line.

If he were to leave, then Brighton would immediately explore the market for a replacement goalkeeper, with Liverpool's Caoimhin Kelleher and Burnley star James Trafford both potential signings.

Should a deal for Verbruggen prove to be impossible, then Real Madrid could test the resolve of Arsenal star David Raya, although a potential deal for the Spaniard is believed to be even harder to make.

The 29-year-old currently has three years remaining on his current contract with Arsenal, having joined the club on a permanent deal last summer.

Since then Raya has been a vital part of Mikel Arteta's side, and would certainly demand a huge transfer fee if Real Madrid intend to make a move.
