England players are rinsing Jude Bellingham for saying Spanish phrase in training

You can't knock Jude for trying.

Jude Bellingham has been ridiculed for using a popular Spanish phrase by his fellow England team-mates.

The 20-year-old has elevated himself into global stardom across the last 12 months, becoming a superstar for Real Madrid.

Having already scored 17 goals in 21 games for Carlo Ancelotti's side this season, the former Birmingham City man has already reached dizzy new heights.

Some of the Premier League stars sat down with the England national team's media channels most recently, looking back at moments from the past calendar year.

Viewing a clip of him in action for Los Blancos, fellow Birmingham-born star Jack Grealish quickly picks something out.

"Did he actually just say vamos? He loves that one," began the former Aston Villa star.

Fellow England pal Aaron Ramsdale was also quick to poke fun at Jude, asking just where the 20-year-old is learning his lingo.

“Is he from Birmingham or what?" added the Three Lions goalkeeper.

''Jude, you're a brummie bruv,” quickly quirked Grealish.

Fellow team-mate of Grealish, Kyle Walker, couldn't help but add his contribution, as the trio laughed together.

“He's been in Spain for how long? 2 or 3 months? And he's now saying vamos," said Walker.

It is once again nice to see the camaraderie built by manager Gareth Southgate, as England head into yet another major tournament.

Bellingham, who is expected to be a star-player for the Three Lions next summer, was instrumental as the Three Lions romped to top spot in qualifying.

Recently stating how ending England's lengthy wait for a major trophy is key, the former Dortmund man is hopeful success can be achieved.

"We've got to attack the qualifiers with the same mentality as we attack major tournaments," Bellingham told Planet Sport.

"The last three (tournaments), I'd say, we've been pretty successful. The last one was a bit disappointing, but we probably played a harder opponent than the previous ones.

"The way we went out was disappointing, but you take confidence in the fact that you can go toe-to-toe with one of the better teams in Europe.

"The goal is always to try and win it. That should be the goal for all of us going into it and that's what we'll try and do."
