A comment made by a family member as they flicked through some of the pictures I'd taken from the Bernabeu is, in my opinion, a perfect way of introducing the OPPO Find X9 Pro.
After using her finger and thumb to zoom in on the capacity Bernabeu crowd, she could see every face in great detail. "I can't believe these were taken on a smartphone," she said, scratching her head.
It's true. At the end of last month, SPORTbible were invited to attend the Real Madrid and Barcelona game by OPPO, who gave us the chance to test out their latest flagship smartphone from the Bernabeu's fourth tier.
More often than not, being that high up would dampen your chances of capturing a perfect shot, especially using a smartphone.

But with the Find X9 Pro's 50MP main camera, which can capture 57 per cent more light for stunning clarity, a picture of Jude Bellingham – just before he scored in the 43rd minute – was crisp and Instagram-worthy.

For those interested in photography, the Find X9 Pro also includes a versatile 50MP ultra-wide camera with autofocus for macro photography, as well as a 50MP periscope telephoto camera featuring a sensor for superior zoom shots.
On top of that, complementing the three 50MP cameras is an industry-first True Colour Camera – a dedicated spectral sensor that precisely measures ambient light, resulting in more accurate colour reproduction even in the most difficult lighting.
A brand-new LUMO Image Engine also features on the Find X9 Series, which enhances clarity, dynamic range, and colour science while ensuring photos look natural.
For example, in bright daylight, users can capture photos in full 50MP resolution by default, delivering over four times the detail of standard 12MP images. In low light or other challenging cases, the camera intelligently switches to 25MP or 12MP modes.
As well as all the above, the series includes industry-first 4K Motion Photos, elevating video resolution from 1080p to 4K for dramatically clearer results.

In terms of the in-game action, Bellingham scored the decisive goal as Xabi Alonso's side went five points clear at the La Liga summit.
Fermin Lopez cancelled out Kylian Mbappe's opener, but the brilliant Bellingham netted with minutes remaining of the first half to seal a memorable three points at the Bernabeu.
The pictures in this article were taken on an OPPO Find X9 Pro.
