Newcastle and England legend Alan Shearer has made his feelings clear on Marcus Rashford being dropped by Barcelona for their La Liga win over Getafe.
Barca secured a 3-0 victory at the Estadi de Johan Cruyff on Saturday, with Ferran Torres scoring a brace in the first half before Dani Olmo netted late on.
The big talking point, however, was manager Hansi Flick's decision to drop Rashford to the bench.
The Manchester United loanee scored a superb brace in Wednesday's 2-1 win over Newcastle in the Champions League, but was removed from the XI for the Getafe clash due to disciplinary reasons.
Rashford arrived late for Barca's final training session before the match, and was promptly demoted to the bench as per one of Flick's strict rules.

He is not the only player to suffer that fate, with Raphinha dropped after he was late to training earlier this month.
Rashford did come off the bench at half-time and assisted Olmo's goal against Getafe, meaning his punishment was short-lived.
But Shearer, who was critical of the England forward's performances for Manchester United last season, has sent a clear warning.
Speaking to Betfair, Shearer said: "We know that if Rashford is ready and if his attitude is right then there's a player in there. He was sensational against Newcastle. The second finish in particular was amazing.

"But you can't be unprofessional. Why should everyone hang around just for you? Why should everyone else be on time but you be late? It's not right.
"I guess if he wants to stay there, particularly only being on-loan, you can't do that when you're at a top club like Barcelona because there'll always be someone to take your place.
"It doesn't matter if you're two minutes late or 20 minutes late. You're late and your team-mates have to wait for you. Why should they all be on time and you not?"

Barcelona are next in action on Thursday night when they make a lengthy away trip to take on newly-promoted Real Oviedo.
