Kylian Mbappe's Brutal Response After Tom Holland Asked Him If He Would Join Tottenham

"That's impossible!" Kylian Mbappe told Tom Holland. The Spider-Man: No Way Home star won't see the PSG forward in Tottenham colours.

Paris Saint-Germain superstar Kylian Mbappe laughed in Tom Holland’s face after the Spider-Man: No Way Home star asked him to sign for Tottenham.

Holland, who is a Spurs fan, crossed paths with the 22-year-old French forward at the 2021 Ballon d’Or ceremony at the Theatre du Chatelet in Paris last month.

The 25-year-old English actor admitted that Mbappe was “really friendly,” but he fell short of convincing him to trade Paris for London.

Speaking to fellow Spider-Man: No Way Home star Zendaya on LADbible TV, Holland said: “We met Mbappe. I said ‘Hey, nice to meet you.’

Footage also emerged of Mbappe telling Holland a transfer to the north London club would be “impossible,” with the Uncharted actor laughing in response.

Mbappe will be out of contract in June 2022 and will be free to sign a pre-contract agreement with a club outside of France in January.

The 2018 World Cup winner has been subjected to intense transfer speculation linking him with Real Madrid.

Los Blancos saw an eye-watering £171.7m deadline-day bid for Mbappe turned down by PSG in the summer.

PSG are desperate for the France international to commit his long-term future to the Ligue 1 club and have reportedly resumed talks over a new deal.

Holland, whose latest outing as the fan-favourite Spider-Man will hit US cinemas on 17th December, revealed that Spurs star Son Heung-min is his favourite player.

“Sonny is my favourite football player. I’ve been a big fan of his,” he told Korean outlets.

“He plays with such grace. I had a meeting with Bong Joon-ho the other day and all we spoke about was Sonny.”
