Kylian Mbappe only has four supporters in PSG dressing room after causing 'huge divide'

The France superstar reportedly wants to leave Paris Saint-Germain.

Kylian Mbappe is reportedly losing the support of his Paris Saint-Germain teammates - with many angry at his high standing within the club.

The 23-year-old signed a new contract with the Ligue 1 giants last summer despite heavy interest from Real Madrid.

As part of the new deal, it's believed Mbappe received greater power than any other player, including a say in sporting decisions.

Le Parisien claimed earlier this week that Mbappe feels 'betrayed' by the PSG hierarchy and wants to leave as early as the January transfer window.

L'Equipe have backed that up while also revealing PSG's other players are becoming increasingly frustrated with Mbappe.

The World Cup winner is becoming an 'isolated figure' in the dressing room, while his mood fluctuates throughout the day.

Neymar is an influential figure in the PSG dressing room due to their high contingent of South American players, who are turning against Mbappe.

The duo have shared words already this season, although Neymar publicly denied a falling out last month.

Club captain Marquinhos is among the players, in addition to Spanish speakers.

It means Mbappe's only support is fellow France internationals Presnel Kimpembe, Nordi Mukiele and Hugo Ekitike plus Achraf Hakimi.

A source explained: "One day, he arrives at Camp des Loges, all smiles, jokes and greets everyone, and the next day, he arrives without a word, does not look at anyone. And it's been like that since the beginning of the season."

Spanish publication Marca state PSG will refuse to sanction a move to Real, which has alerted a host of top teams across Europe.

Among those interested are Premier League duo Chelsea and Liverpool, with the former keen to sign a 'superstar name' after missing out on Cristiano Ronaldo last summer.

Liverpool, meanwhile, have held a long-standing interest in Mbappe. They spoke to him when he was at Monaco in 2017, before Mbappe ultimately decided to join PSG.

He told the Daily Telegraph in May: "We talked a little bit, but not too much. We talked a little bit.

"I talked to Liverpool because it’s the favourite club of my mum, my mum loves Liverpool. I don’t know why, you will have to ask her!

"It’s a good club and we met them five years ago. When I was in Monaco I met them. It’s a big club."
