Manchester United's new third kit for next season has been leaked online and we're happy to admit early on that we're pretty big fans.

The Red Devils are currently two-and-a-half years into the biggest kit deal in the club's history, with Adidas paying the Premier League giants a whopping £75 million per season for the rights to make their shirts.

So far the German company have been doing a pretty good job of designing modern kits that remain respectful of United's tradition and heritage, but the third kit which has been leaked online today takes things to a whole new level.

This image of the strip was posted by the usually reliable Footy Headlines website, purporting to show the 2017/18 concept:

The faded silver and grey is nothing particularly new, but if you look closely, you should be able to spy an image of United's so-called 'Holy Trinity' statute which takes pride of place outside Old Trafford.

The statue features United legends George Best, Dennis Law and Bobby Charlton, three of the greatest players ever to play for the club.
