Napoli Reveal Wonderful New Kit With Weird Panther Video

The Serie A side will be hoping they can beat Juventus to the title, after coming so close last season, now that they have Carlo Ancelotti.

It's the summer, the World Cup is well and truly over and over at SPORTbible towers we've started thinking about the domestic season again and that means two things, kits and transfers- oh don't say that you know you love it!

That's right folks the harsh reality has really hit us this week as our days haven't been spent looking forward to the football kicking off, whether that's the early games as with the beginning of the tournament or getting home to watch the 7pm games, it's all gone.

With Wimbledon having stupidly timed itself to clash with the football we're pretty much at a loss now what to concentrate on, especially as the Tests against India still don't start for another two weeks.

So it's back to thinking about the domestic season, with the Football League just 16 days away and the Community Shield another two days away, the Premier League starts in 23 days.

With that being the case we can only turn to wonderful kits, our favourite thing, and Napoli have just released their panther kit for next season with a weird and wonderful cartoon:

Look we've no idea why Marek Hamsik, a very muscular version of the midfielder it has to be said, appears to be knocking out a panther before said panther seemingly appears on the new kit.

Whatever the reason we're happy to go with it at it produces a pretty nice looking kit, although it does have a certain "Mr Ancelotti, I don't feel so good" feel to it in fairness.

Napoli will have to wait till the 18th or 19th of August to kick off their Serie A campaign when they'll be trying to finally over throw Juventus as the perennial champions of Italy.

They came close last season but when they ultimately failed they decided to bring in Carlo Ancelotti to replace Maurizio Sarri, who then moved to Chelsea.

As well as losing Jorginho, also to the Blues, they've now seen Juve sign Cristiano Ronaldo. Finally winning the title once again looks like a tough ask for the side from Naples.
