Karim Benzema posts ANOTHER dig at not winning the FIFA Best award

Karim Benzema posts ANOTHER dig at not winning the FIFA Best award

Karim Benzema continued his anger on social media after missing out on the Best award.

Karim Benzema has posted ANOTHER subtle dig on social media after missing out on the FIFA Best award on Monday.

Lionel Messi was crowned the world's best male footballer at the FIFA Best awards, just a few months since he guided Argentina to World Cup glory in Qatar.

On collecting the award, Messi, who pipped Kylian Mbappe and Benzema to the prestigious individual gong, said: "It's amazing. It's an honour for me to be here tonight and win this award.

"Without my team-mates I wouldn't be here. It was an amazing year and I achieved the dream that I've been hoping for so long and finally, I managed to achieve it."

Benzema was nominated for the award, but Messi scooped the prize after receiving 52 points compared to the Real Madrid superstar's 32 points.

The 35-year-old didn't attend the ceremony but reacted to Messi winning the award by posting on his social media.

He uploaded a video to his Instagram story that says: "Liar, yes, you liar."

The Frenchman included a caption below the video that translates to: "Good night."

And he has continued his anger at not winning the FIFA Best award by sharing yet another post on social media.

Benzema shared a post on his Instagram story, highlighting his accolades from last August until the end of the FIFA nomination period for the Best award with club and the national team.

From his goals and assists to his trophy haul and Ballon d'Or triumph.

He then shared another post on his Instagram story of himself, with the caption: "Good night."
