Footage shows Jurgen Klopp's furious reaction to fan invading pitch in Liverpool's draw with Crystal Palace

Jurgen Klopp was livid as a fan invaded the Anfield pitch while his team were on the attack against Crystal Palace.

Jurgen Klopp's furious reaction to a supporter who invaded the Anfield pitch on Monday night was captured in fan footage.

10-man Liverpool were held to a draw for the second consecutive game by Crystal Palace, who picked up their first point of the new campaign.

The Reds saw club-record signing Darwin Nunez sent off in the second half for a headbutt on Joachim Andersen, who absolutely rattled the Uruguayan all game.

Luis Diaz's incredible solo goal cancelled out Wilfried Zaha's fine finish on the counter attack and prevented a first defeat for Liverpool.

Even with 10 men, it was Liverpool who dominated possession and were doing all the probing as they pushed for the win.

But late on, with Liverpool looking for one last attack and a final moment to snatch the win, a fan went and ruined all that.

An individual ran onto the pitch before eventually being apprehended by security. As is normal, it was not fully covered in Sky Sports' broadcast.

But fan footage of the events in the 94th minute began to do the rounds and it's fair to say Klopp was seething with the game being halted.

The German was angrily gesticulating at the fan and screaming at him while the fourth official tried to calm him down.

Liverpool were in possession of the ball and the idiocracy of the fan ultimately killed their chances of finding a last-gasp winner.

The fan will most definitely be getting a lengthy ban, in addition to feeling Klopp's wrath.

After being plagued by injuries for the visit of Palace, with Diogo Jota, Roberto Firmino, Thiago Alcantara, Curtis Jones, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Joel Matip, Klopp said he felt like a "witch" had cursed his team.

Nunez will now also been missing for three games through suspension, starting with the trip to Manchester United on Monday.
