Jude Bellingham has finally chosen his next club, his 'mind is made up'

Jude Bellingham has finally chosen his next club, his 'mind is made up'

He's set to move this summer.

Borussia Dortmund star Jude Bellingham has made a final decision over his future.

Bellingham, 19, is one of the most in-demand players in world football after continuing to impress this season for Borussia Dortmund.

He has scored 11 goals in 39 appearances in all competitions, excellent form which has put Dortmund firmly in the mix for the Bundesliga title.

Dortmund currently lead Bayern Munich by one point, with just five games remaining in the campaign.

Bellingham is under contract with Dortmund until 2025 but has been strongly linked with a move away this summer, with several of European football's biggest clubs keen to sign him.

Liverpool were thought to be favourites for his signature before pulling out of the race to sign the England star, with the potential costs too high for Jurgen Klopp's side.

Dortmund are expected to demand more than £130m for Bellingham, which – when combined with his wages – was deemed to be too expensive for Liverpool.

Real Madrid, Manchester City and Manchester United remain in the hunt for the midfielder, while Dortmund are keen to tie him down to a new deal – with the German side prepared to make him the highest-paid player in the history of the club to keep him.

Bellingham 'decides his next move'

After assessing his options, Bellingham has now made a final decision over his future and wants to join Real Madrid this summer, according to Spanish publication AS.

AS claim the England international 'believes a switch to Spain is the best next step in his career' and 'is preparing to inform Los Blancos of his decision'.

The report add that 'his mind is made up' and that he 'wants a new challenge' in La Liga.

There is said to be a 'growing acceptance' at Dortmund they will be unable to keep Bellingham, who has been convinced to join the Spanish giants following a meeting with a representative of the club last month.

Bellingham is a viewed as a long-term replacement for one of Luka Modric and Toni Kroos, who are both coming to the end of their careers.

But a move to the Bernabeu is far from certain, with the report claiming that Real Madrid are determined not to pay more than €120m (£105m) for Bellingham – well below Dortmund's asking price.
