Reports have suggested Liverpool are willing to pay a ‘significant fee’ when Bellingham becomes available next summer.

Jude Bellingham is one of football’s brightest prospects, and the England international is subject of interest from some of Europe’s top clubs.

Bellingham has made an astounding 133 senior appearances at the ripe age of 19 years old and is described by many as ‘mature for his age’.

The young midfielder has already featured 15 times for the national team and is expected to play a key role in England’s World Cup campaign this winter, having impressed every time he’s donned the England shirt.

Borussia Dortmund know that they won't be able to hold onto Bellingham for much longer, but it will take a stratospheric offer to pry him away from Germany.

But according to reports from the Liverpool Echo, Liverpool would be willing to break the bank in order to bring Bellingham to Merseyside.

The reports suggest Dortmund will want at least £103 million and some clubs would be willing to go above that.

Liverpool are reportedly willing to pay the ‘significant fee’ to bring the 19-year-old to the club but will face fierce competition from the likes of Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain.

With Naby Keita’s contract set to expire in 2023, and both Henderson and Thiago the wrong side of 30, a move for Bellingham would be a no-brainer for Liverpool.

While it would be a surprise to see Liverpool splash £100 million on a player, there’s no doubt that it is a worthwhile investment to bring Bellingham to the club.

Recent reports have suggested Liverpool won’t be looking to sign Jude Bellingham until next year, having already splashed £85 million on Darwin Nunez this summer.

But Bellingham is reportedly ‘keen’ on a move to Anfield and Liverpool are willing to pay anything to bring him to the club.

Competition will be fierce, but Liverpool believe they are the right club for Bellingham and will be fighting to the wire next summer to secure his long-term future.
