Liverpool fans have been convinced by Trent Alexander-Arnold's tweet that Jude Bellingham is joining the Reds from Borussia Dortmund.

'Agent Trent' is the nickname being thrown around the Liverpool right-back as he and Bellingham have appear to be getting on well during England camp.

Jurgen Klopp's men have been linked to the English midfielder for a while now and they are desperate for a midfielder.

However, Alexander-Arnold has convinced the Dortmund man to Anfield, it could mean bad news for Manchester United as they are also being heavily linked to Bellingham.

What has been said about the post?

The post online from Alexander-Arnold featured an image of the pair taking a "stroll" around Qatar.

The tweet had this as the caption: "Stroll in the City with Bro @BellinghamJude."

One user said: "Bring your bro back to Liverpool g."

Another tweeted: "So that’s the ground work done, well in Trent….now for Jude to sign the contract."

Then another Liverpool fan had a little bit more of a measured approach: "If he gets a call from Real Madrid and Manchester City, he will never come to Liverpool, but otherwise he could choose Liverpool."

Before the season started, Klopp had said he did not believe his side needed extra midfielders.

The season then begun and the German manager changed his mind: "I know we have had this discussion since it all started and I am the one who said we don’t need a midfielder and you were all right and I was wrong.

"That’s the situation. There is really nothing more to say about it. We are looking for it, and if it is the right player we need him and if it is not the right player we don’t need him."
