How many trophies Roma boss Jose Mourinho has won as a manager ahead of Europa League final

How many trophies Roma boss Jose Mourinho has won as a manager ahead of Europa League final

Mourinho has won a significant number of trophies.

Roma boss Jose Mourinho will add another trophy to his cabinet if his side win the Europa League final against Sevilla. But how many has he already won?

The Portuguese managerial legend has won a trophy at every club he has managed since 2002 except, as he has very publicly reminded onlookers, Tottenham.

Mourinho did guide Spurs to the 2021 Carabao Cup final, but was sacked by the club in the week prior to the Wembley clash against Manchester City.

Last season, he won the Europa Conference League title with Roma, which automatically qualified them for this campaign's Europa League.

The Portuguese boss has presided over knockout wins over RB Salzburg, Real Sociedad, Feyenoord and Bayer Leverkusen, conceding just three goals along the way.

Tonight's clash against Sevilla in Budapest will see Roma play for the 15th time in the competition this season - the same number as tonight's opponents.

Prior to tonight's game, how many trophies has Mourinho won in his managerial career? Let's take a look.

How many trophies has Jose Mourinho won?

Jose Mourinho has won a total of 26 trophies during his managerial career. Only six managers, including Carlo Ancelotti, Pep Guardiola and Sir Alex Ferguson, have won more.

The Portuguese boss won six trophies whilst in charge of Porto, including two league titles, the 2003 UEFA Cup and, most famously, the 2004 Champions League.

He then moved on to Chelsea, where he lifted two Premier League titles, an FA Cup, two League Cups and a Community Shield in his first spell at the helm.

A spell at Inter Milan and four more trophies followed, including consecutive Scudettos in 2009 and 2010 and the 2010 Champions League.

He won a further three trophies at Real Madrid, securing his first-ever La Liga crown in 2012.

He added a third Premier League title to his resume at Chelsea, followed by a stint at Manchester United where he won three trophies, including the 2017 Europa League, in his first season.

His 26th trophy arrived when his Roma side won the Europa Conference League title in 2022.
